Family Support Center to host autism play groups Nov. 1, Nov. 20

BUCKHANNON — The Mountain CAP Family Support Center, in collaboration with Play To Grow Occupational Therapy, will offer a free play group for autistic children beginning in November.

The group will allow children to play with other children in a neurodiverse, affirming setting and focuses on developmental ages 2 through 5. Children with a higher chronological age, but who are developmentally between the ages of 2 and 5 are also eligible to participate.

Groups will be held on November 1 and November 20 from 4 to 4:45 p.m.
