CHARLESTON — With the Labor Day Weekend rapidly approaching, the West Virginia State Police would like to remind the public to use caution while traveling due to an increase in traffic volume.
Please allow extra time to reach your destination and be patient with other motorists.
Beginning today, Thursday, Aug. 31, there will also be an increase in WVSP troopers on the highways. A new traffic enforcement initiative concentrating on speed and DUI enforcement also begins today.
Have a safe and happy Labor Day Weekend!
