Golf Bucs finish second at Bridgeport tri-outing

BRIDGEPORT – Buckhannon-Upshur finished second out of three teams in a tri-outing with Bridgeport and Philip Barbour at the Bridgeport Country Club last week.

Bridgeport won the event with a 177 while the Bucs checked in with a 193. Philip Barbour was third with a 210.

Parker Lockwood and Jevon Westfall led the Bucs with 47s while Jaden Westfall shot a 49. The other Bucs were Easton Perkins with a 50, Jerin Westfall with a 51 and Drahden Rice with a 53.

Tanner Straley of Bridgeport earned low medalist honors with a 41. Anthony Hazey and Colton Gerhards of Bridgeport tied with runner-up honors with 43s.

The Bucs will be back in action Monday at the Parkersburg Country Club for a Junior Callaway event.
