Get your tickets now: Designer purse bingo set for Saturday

The PEO Sisterhood is sponsoring a designer purse bingo on Saturday, Nov. 3 beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Brushy Fork Event Center. Brands include Kate Spade, Coach and Michael Kors. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Twenty purses are available to win.

Tickets can be purchased from committee members Robin Williams, Margie Stocking, Linda Xander, Kathy St.Clair, Gini Jeran or Jane Johnson, as well as from any PEO member.

The PEO Sisterhood is also encouraging attendees to bring canned goods in order to be entered into a drawing for a designer purse. These will be donated to the Parish House. Every three cans you bring will earn you another chance to win.

P.E.O. Scholar Awards – Grants for women of the U.S. or Canada who are pursuing doctoral level degree or post-doctoral level research

Program for Continuing Education – Grants for women in the U.S. or Canada whose education has been interrupted

Star Scholarship – Grants for high school senior women pursuing post-secondary education at accredited institutions

Cottey College – A fully accredited liberal arts college for women located in Nevada, Missouri, owned and operated by P.E.O. since 1927

Rita Carper Terry Cottey College Scholarship Fund – Grants for first and second year Cottey students who are from West Virginia

P.E.O. Scholarship WVWC Endowment Fund – Financial assistance for a dedicated Upshur County WVWC student in her sophomore year or above
