Julia “JuJu” Dee Hull

Heaven has been graced with the arrival of its newest angel, Julia “JuJu” Dee Hull, 52, of French Creek, who went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

She blessed this Earth and the lives of her parents when she was born on September 6, 1970, in Appalachia, VA. Julia was a daughter of the late Ted “Tony” Tomlinson and Barbara Lovell Craiger. In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by two sisters: Donna Phillips and Barbara “Babs” Bush.

On May 29, 2007, Julia married the love of her life, Charles “Charlie” Scott Hull. Charlie was a devoted husband who loved Julia beyond words and will miss her beyond measure after 15 wonderful years of marriage.

Forever cherishing their memories of Julia’s contagious smile and laughter are her husband, Charlie Hull of French Creek; two children: Kylee and Layne Hull both of French Creek; two step-children: Rick Hull and wife, Connie, of Wise, VA, and Shawna Reed and husband, Allen, of Buckhannon; four grandchildren: Jadyn Reed, Ashley Johnson, Rikki Hull, and Meagan Monahan; two sisters: Patty Givens and Linda Light; three brothers: Timmy Tomlinson, Christopher Craiger, and Matt Vance; special great-niece, Jasie Giles; several additional nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law that she enjoyed spending time with; and special friend, Gaila Smith.

Julia was Christian by faith and attended the Tom Anderson Mission Center Church in Adrian. Her devotion to her beloved husband and children was a living testimony to her faith. She spent every moment loving and caring for them whether they were working on the farm or swimming in the pool. Julia also enjoyed hunting and relaxing in her hot tub.

Julia treasured her role as homemaker caring for her home and family. She was a loving wife and mother and always exhibited love and dedication for her husband and children. Over the 23 years Charlie and Julia shared together, they never spent a night apart. They were “each other’s humans”, and after Charlie retired, he and Julia farmed, cared for their children, and spent every minute together. They built their loving and memorable life on Slab Camp Rd. in French Creek. They had their own special brand of magic that touched everyone who knew and loved them. We are thankful for their lives together.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tom Anderson Mission Center Church. Please make checks payable to Randall Hughes Ministries and mail to 115 Joe Ware Rd., French Creek, WV 26218.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at Tom Anderson Mission Center Church located at 276 Abbott Rd. in Adrian from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Funeral Services will begin at 12 p.m. on Wednesday with Reverend Randy Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at the Hull Family Cemetery. Julia will be laid to rest on her homestead to overlook the beautiful hills and mountains that will echo the joy, laughter, and love she contributed to this world.
