Custom Cabinets widens lead in Men’s Golf League

TENNERTON – With the second quarter in full swing of the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League, Custom Cabinets continues to build on its lead.

With a dominating 20-12 win over High Point Construction, Custom Cabinets now has 82 ½ points and a 7 ½ point lead over second-place UniFirst Corporation.

High Point Construction dropped into fourth place after the loss after being in third last week.

UniFirst Corporation defeated Hank Ellis Insurance by a 19-16 score to maintain their second-place spot this week as they have 75 points.

Baker Tilly moved into third place after being fourth last week despite a 16 ½-16 ½ tie with Sam’s Pizza.

The big mover in the standings this week was Feola’s Flowers who jumped five spots from last place to fifth with a 20 ½-14 ¼ victory over Lisa Cain Edward Jones.

The other outing of the week saw Highland Landscaping pick up a 20-10 ½ win over First Community Bank.

John Moss of Custon Cabinets brought home Low Actual honors with a 38 while Chris Zickefoose of Feola’s Flowers carded a 31 for Low Net honors.
