Mayor Robbie Skinner congratulates St. Joseph’s Hospital on 100th anniversary

March 28, 2022, BUCKHANNON, WV: Mayor Robbie Skinner delivered a message of congratulations to an area institution at the Community Celebration in Recognition of the 100th Anniversary of St. Joseph’s Hospital earlier today. (See his remarks here.) 

The gathering, delayed a year by COVID, was attended by community members who wanted to recognize the contribution the local medical facility provides. 

Other speakers included Barry Moll, St. Joseph’s Hospital’s Chaplain; Sister Mary Grace Barile, Provincial Superior, Pallottine Missionary Sisters, USA; Dennis Xander, President of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Board of Trustees; Don Nestor, Vice-President of the St. Joseph’s Hospital Board of Trustees; Sister Francesca Lowis, Vice President of Mission Integration, St. Joseph’s Hospital. 

A special message was delivered by video from Albert L. Wright, Jr., President & CEO of the West Virginia University Health System.

The celebration was presided over by Skip Gjolberg, President & CEO of St. Joseph’s Hospital and held at the Event Center at Brushy Fork.
