2019 Scavenger Hunt concludes and four winners announced

The 2019 Christmas Scavenger Hunt event has wrapped up and four local children have won $25 Walmart Gift Cards! The lucky winners are Macie Helmick, Mikey Ruffing, Emila Lanasa and Arden George.

With 10 holiday stops, children and their families visited a variety of local businesses and events to receive a free Christmas treat and a sticker. After collecting 5 stickers, the cards were returned to be entered into the gift card drawing. This annual event is sponsored by the Chamber & Visitors Center. It creates a fun, free way for families to go into the community and visit local businesses.

A special Thank You to the parents who took the time to participate in the Christmas Scavenger Hunt, as well as the following businesses: Sweet-A-Licious, Upshur County Public Library, Fox’s Pizza, TATEEP Unique Boutique, Wendlings, Rock Cave Fire Department, Woody’s Bowling Center, Sam’s Pizza, 88 Restaurant & Lounge and Brake’s Dairy King. Happy Holidays!
