WVWC recognizes employees for years of service

West Virginia Wesleyan College honored staff and faculty for milestone years of service at its annual gathering, celebrating employees with tenures ranging from five to thirty-five years across multiple departments.

West Virginia Wesleyan College recently recognized employees for their years of service at the annual Staff and Faculty Gathering to celebrate the end of the academic year. Employees are honored at five-year increments.

Director of Safety and Security John Bohman and Controller Randall Crites were each honored for 35 years of service. Director of Institutional Research Tammy Crites was recognized for 30 years of service. Dr. Gregory Mach (Department of Theatre and Dance) and Tammy Moody (athletic training) were honored for 25 years of service.

Clete Gould (Physical Plant), Dr. Luke Huggins (Biology and Environmenal Service), Dr. Tammy Samples (School of Education) and Dr. Pamela Wovchko (Department of Mathematics) were recognized for 20 years of service. Fifteen Years of Service employees recognized were Bill Pastorius (The Learning Center) and Dr. Jessica Scott (Gender Studies).

Those receiving 10 years of service certificates were Kelly Austin (Physical Plant), Dr. Theresa Black (School of Nursing), April Cutright (Administrative Services), Jennifer Fletcher (Bobcat Den), Rhonda Haler (business office), Robert Howsare (Department of Art and Design), Matt Linder (Financial Aid), Traci Probst (Instructional Technology) and Dr. Rebecca Swisher (Thomas Albinson II School of Business).

Five years of service employees recognized were Kelsey Chambers (athletics), Yaniv Gutman (School of Music), Ethan Hayes (esports), Patrick S. Heavner (Physical Plant), Cami Roberts (athletics), Derek Sloan (athletics), Robert Stevens (Department of English) and April Syrews (Physical Plant).
