WVWC golf teams wrap up fall play in the Shriners Hospital for Kids Invitational

RAVENSWOOD, W.Va. — The West Virginia Wesleyan golf teams wrapped up the fall season at the Shriners Hospital for Kids Invitational at Green Hills Golf Club in Ravenswood, W.Va.

On the men’s side, the team finished in sixth place overall. 

Hico, W.Va., native Indiana Eades shot nine strokes over par for the tournament. Eades finished the highest on the leaderboard for the Bobcats. He recorded a second-round score of 74 strokes and sank five birdies in 36 holes. 

Davis Haynes ended his fall season shooting 12 strokes over par in the event. Haynes added four birdies to his scorecard. He ranked T-23rd on the leaderboard. 

Alexis Abalos finished T-25th after penciling a two-round score of 13 strokes over par.

Rounding out the scoring for the Bobcats was Gavin Wilson and Ciah Kennedy, who placed T-37th and T-39th respectively.

On the women’s side, three Lady Bobcats competed as individuals.

Remmey Lohr continued her strong freshman year with a sixth place finish. She fired two rounds of 83 strokes. 

Kiana Toole shot two rounds of 85 and ended T-14th on the leaderboard. 

Carleigh Bolyard completed her fall season shooting two rounds of 91 and placed T-27th.
