On May 31, 2026, WVJC School of Nursing held a pinning ceremony honoring the graduating class from its online/hybrid and residential nursing programs in Morgantown, Wheeling and Elkins, West Virginia.

The pinning took place at Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center in Clarksburg, W.Va., where 54 graduates were celebrated for reaching this important milestone. During the ceremony, each student was pinned by a loved one, marking their transition from nursing student to professional nurse and symbolizing their commitment to the field.

A celebration took place to recognize the hard work and perseverance of the WVJC graduates. Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on lab training and clinical experiences, students gained the skills necessary for delivering high-quality patient care in diverse health care settings.

As they advance into their nursing careers, these graduates will play a vital role in meeting the growing demand for qualified and compassionate healthcare professionals in the region.

“We are so proud of our residential and online May 2026 nursing graduates and cannot wait to see what they accomplish in their careers,” said WVJC School of Nursing Career Management Director Malana Malonson.
