The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a woman in connection to a fatal shooting reported Sunday afternoon, and they believe she has ties to the Buckhannon area.
Randolph County Sheriff Mark Brady told the Inter-Mountain that his office responded to a home on Gum Road Sunday afternoon, where they found Spencer C. Zoller, 49, dead.
“The victim passed away of a gunshot wound,” Brady told the Inter-Mountain. “There is not a suspect in custody at this time and it is still under investigation … The incident is being investigated as a homicide.”
According to a press release, deputies are trying to locate Vanessa Logan, 32, who they believe fled the scene before officers arrived. She is described as 5-foot, 7-inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.
