About 203 residents are hospitalized with the virus (52% unvaccinated, 48% vaccinated), with 25 currently in intensive care (52% unvaccinated, 48% vaccinated) and four on a ventilator (100% unvaccinated, 0% vaccinated). The daily percent positive was 11.80%.

A total of 980,541 people have been vaccinated for COVID-19 in West Virginia, the DHHR said.  That’s about 55% of the state. About 510,054 booster doses have been administered.
