Voris Arnold Hawkins

Voris Arnold Hawkins, age 64, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, August 30, 2026, at his home. He was born January 29, 1962, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Voris Luthur and Ruth Hosaflook Hawkins.

On June 30, 1984, he married Pamela Dawn Phillips, who preceded him in death on September 11, 2016.

He is survived by two sons, Voris Andrew Hawkins of Buckhannon and Jon Michael Hawkins and girlfriend Lindsay of Weston, WV; one daughter, Stephanie Hawkins of Buckhannon; eight grandchildren, Monkey Butt Waylon, Monkey Butt Aurora, Riley, Ashlyn, Buck, Wyatt, Tristan and Levi; two sisters, Candy Hawkins and husband Norman and Pamela Hawkins; several nieces and nephews; and his dear friend, Brenda.

Mr. Hawkins was passionate about his work in the oil field and was a dedicated family man. He was a member of the Warren District Volunteer Fire Department and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. But above all, he was the absolute best Papaw.

Friends will be received Friday, September 4, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Norman Hawkins and the Rev. David Fisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Dale Church Cemetery in Selbyville, WV.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
