Upshur County Grand Jury returns 28 indictments on Monday

A grand jury meeting in Upshur County on Monday returned 28 indictments, according to a press release from the Upshur County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office:

  • David Charles Blagg, 25, of Tallmansville, W.Va. – Fleeing in a Vehicle with Reckless Indifference to the Safety of Others, a felony, 1 count; Unlawful Taking of a Vehicle, a misdemeanor, 1 count; Shoplifting, a misdemeanor, 1 count.
  • Joshua Lucas Bland, 39, of Weston, W.Va. – Shoplifting, 3rd or Subsequent Offense, a felony, 3 counts; Conspiracy, a felony, 3 counts.
  • Stephanie Dawn Goff, 30, of Roanoke, W.Va. – Shoplifting, 3rd or Subsequent Offense, a felony, 3 counts; Conspiracy, a felony, 3 counts.
  • Richard William Ferrant, 34, of Rock Cave, W.Va. – Fleeing in a Vehicle with Reckless Indifference to the Safety of Others, a felony, 1 count; Fleeing on Foot, a misdemeanor, 1 count.
  • Wendy Richardson Evans, 53, of Buckhannon, W.Va. – Obtaining Property in Return for Worthless Check, a felony, 2 counts.
  • Christopher George Eakins, 71, of Buckhannon, W.Va. – Failure to Provide a Change in Sex Offender Registration Information, Life Registrant, 2nd Offense, a felony, 2 counts.
  • Ivy James Lane, 35, of Buckhannon, W.Va. – Failure to Meet an Obligation to Pay Support to a Minor, a felony, 2 counts.
  • April Mae Kelly, 34, of Buckhannon, W.Va. – Fraudulent Use of an Access Device, a felony, 3 counts.
  • Tammy Lou Helmick, 33, of Weston, W.Va. – Third Degree Sexual Assault, a felony, 1 count. Use of Minor in Filming Sexually Explicit Conduct, a felony, 1 count.
  • Brandon Todd Bennett, 27, of Buckhannon, W.Va. – Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver, a felony, 4 counts – Heroin, Buprenorphine, Fentanyl, and Methamphetamine.
  • Colton Lee Chipps, 22, of Walkersville, W.Va. – Fraudulent Use of an Access Device, a felony, 3 counts; Conspiracy, a felony, 3 counts.
  • Morganne Bianca Grubb, 22, of Weston, W.Va. – Fraudulent Use of an Access Device, a felony, 3 counts; Conspiracy, a felony, 3 counts.
  • Anthony Scott Gregory, 38, of Adrian, W.Va. – Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Marihuana, a felony, 1 count. Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver, a felony, 4 counts – Methamphetamine and Marihuana.
