Tristonia Rynea McCartney

Tristonia Rynea McCartney, 19, of Rock Cave passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 22, 2020.

She was born in Buckhannon on May 10, 2001, a daughter of Nikki Nemet and step-father Kevin, of Hudson, Fla., and father Lawrence McCartney, Jr., of Ireland, W.Va.

Left to cherish her fun-loving spirit along with her parents are: one daughter Emmalynn Mitchell; two brothers: Trey and Stormy McCartney of Hudson, Fla.; half brother, Ryker Green; maternal grandfather, Dennis Chidester of Rock Cave; paternal grandparents: Lawrence Earl McCartney, Sr. of Ireland, W.Va., and Debbie McCartney of Buckhannon, W.Va.; and step grandparents: Paula and Russ Nemet, of Brooksville, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Linda Chidester.

Tristonia was a loving mother who often could enjoy a good joke. Her outgoing, never-met-a-stranger personality often made her smile light up a room. She enjoyed the outdoors, taking pictures of everything, and singing along to a good song.

Family and friends will gather at Clutter Funeral and Cremation located at 21 Elnora Circle from noon – 1 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. in the Clutter Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Jessie officiating. Following the services in honoring her wishes she will be cremated.
