TKS Contracting starts 2-0 in CEC Summer Basketball League

TENNERTON – The CEC Upshur County Summer Basketball League kicked off their 2023 season with a trio of games last Monday and Tuesday.

The first game on Monday saw Good Times beat CPImagery by a 68-60 score with Dalton Hamrick scoring a game-high 33 points for Good Times while Shaun Rexroad paced CPImagery with 14 points.

In the second game, TKS Contracting downed CPImagery by an 83-49 count with Jaret Mullolly leading the cause for TKS Contracting with 21 points while Rexroad led CPImagery with 13 points.

The final game on Monday saw TKS Contracting move to 2-0 with a 74-68 win over Good Times with Vadim Clanet scoring 22 points for TKS Contracting while Hamrick led Good Times with a game-high 40 points.

On Tuesday, Power Alley beat AMTC by a 63-31 score with Jonathan Brown scoring 22 points for Power Alley while Markus Chase led AMTC with eight points.

In the second game between Power Alley and TLM Management, a scuffle broke out and five technical fouls were assessed, and the league stopped the game and ruled it a double forfeit and loss for both teams.

TLM Management decided to forfeit their next game of the night, giving AMTC a forfeit win.

The league was scheduled to close out the first week with a trio of games on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

They will return to action Monday with three games.
