BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another edition of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week we will select a male and female athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur who has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, volleyball court, golf course or the cross-country course.
Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of Sept. 25 – Oct. 1 are Bryson Johnston and Grace Queen.
Johnston is a senior tailback/wideout on the Buccaneer football team. Against University, Johnston averaged over five yards a carry gaining 67 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries. He also caught four passes for 34 yards. On defense he made six tackles and had two pass break-ups.
Queen is a junior on the Lady Buc soccer team. She led a rally that came up just short and collected a goal in a 3-2 setback to Parkersburg this past Saturday.
