Tennis ‘Cats fare well at UC Indoor Invite

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Wesleyan men’s tennis team wrapped up the weekend (Feb. 4-5) at the UC Inoor Invite with two double flight wins led by  Ethan ThomasPatrick McGee, and Nicolas Zumba.  All picked up three wins a piece in the flighted event at the Charleston Tennis Club.

“This was our first showing for a few of our guys,” head coach Kyle Hoffman said. “We needed to work out the nerves.  We had a few nice wins, but still have a lot of work to do before we go play our first dual match in a few weeks.

That match is set for Friday (Feb. 18) when the ‘Cats head to Harrogate, Tenn. to take on the Railsplitters from Lincoln Memorial University.
