Sharon Boone wins ‘bad weather’ photo contest

Several members of Buckhannon Upshur Camera Club submitted photos for a friendly November competition for the favorite photo along the theme of “bad weather.” Sharon Boone pulled down honors with her foggy beach photo. She titles her photo “In Flight.”

In December, the club plans a Christmas party and a photo field trip to photograph  Weston churches dressed for the Christmas season.

The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held in January at the Upshur Senior Center.  The 6:30 p.m. meeting on Thursday, January 23 will feature special guests Wayne Worth and Johnnaston Kimble of “On the Road in WV: Our 55 Counties.”

We invite those who enjoy photography to join us. Annual dues are $10.
