Robert L. Elbon

Robert L. Elbon, 79, of Buckhannon, W.Va., Thursday, August 22, 2019, at home.

He was born February 24, 1940, in Upshur County, W.Va., a son of the late Lowell and Rachel Roxanna Hoover Elbon.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Elbon of Buckhannon; two daughters, Shannon Taglieri and husband Thomas of Marlton, N.J. and Robin Jones and husband Robert of New Albany, Pa.; one son, Robert Elbon, Jr., and wife Colleen of Pilesgrove, N.J. and six grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and Bill Elbon and one sister, Helen Tolliver.

Mr. Elbon was a house painter and served in the U.S. Army.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019 at the Heavner Cemetery with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.

The Upshur County Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors at the gravesite.
