Richard Lee Roberts

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Lee Roberts on March 8, 2025, at the age of 74. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, veteran and friend.

Richard was born in California on September 26, 1950, and after meeting his wife, he resided in Northern Virginia for many years while working for Dominion Power Company as a substation technician. Shortly before his retirement, they moved to Inwood, WV.

Richard was known for his kindness, generosity and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Myra; daughters, Crystal and Stephanie; siblings, Jeff and Julie; and grandchildren, Austin, Allison, Kurtis, Jason and Tyler. He was predeceased by his son, Cory; parents, Jeanneane and Norman; and his sister, Susan.

Visitation will be held on March 21, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home, 95 S. Kanawha Street, Buckhannon, WV 26201. Graveside memorial services will take place on March 21, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Upshur County Memorial Park Cemetery, 168 Memorial Park Road, Buckhannon, WV 26201.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Richard’s name to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
