Patricia Marie McDaniels

Patricia Marie McDaniels, 77, of the Brushy Fork community, died Monday, October 19, 2020, at the home of her daughter under her loving care. 

She was born on December 19, 1942, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Ovid Wesley and Enid Rector Duncan. She was united in marriage on August 31, 1961, to Edro “Buck” McDaniels, who preceded her in death on May 18, 2005.  In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one son Jeffrey Allen McDaniels. 

She is survived by her daughter Jackie McDaniels and one brother Wesley Duncan, both of Buckhannon; one aunt, Betty Rector of Parkersburg; one niece; one great nephew; and several cousins.

Mrs. McDaniels was a 1961 graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School.  After raising her two children, she owned and operated McDaniels Ceramic Shop for many years.  She was a member of the Chapel Hill United Methodist Church and enjoyed knitting, travelling, lunches with the Class of ’61, and outings and lunches with her good friends.

At the request of the deceased, her body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
