Friday, July 29, 2022 – Create Buckhannon’s Festival Fridays – Youth Night Edition ⋅ With a 5:00pm Start Time in Jawbone Park

The Youth Council of Create Buckhannon will present an evening of fun geared toward our youth that will include an open mic night featuring local talent; musical entertainment by the Soda Pop Gypsies; recreational fun in the form of spike ball, a volleyball contest and corn hole.  At dark, the Youth Council is presenting a movie on the lawn in Jawbone Park co-sponsored by the City of Buckhannon and West Virginia Wesleyan College.  The movie will be “The Goonies” which is the mid-1980s story of a group of young misfits who embark on an adventure to uncover a well-known pirate’s highly sought-after treasure. Popcorn and drinks will be available during the screening of the film at dark.
