Norman Howard Helmick, age 56, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at WVU Medicine United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV.
He was born October 30, 1969, in OH, a son of the late Larry and Betty Hinchman Helmick. On January 6, 1997, he married Vickie Moore, who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Cody Helmick of Buckhannon; two daughters, Brittney and Tannar Helmick, both of Buckhannon; one brother, Kevin Helmick; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Ann Helmick.
Mr. Helmick was a former truck driver and well tender.
A private service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
