Mike Robinson

Mike Robinson, age 54, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, May 13, 2023, in Buckhannon.

He was born May 16, 1968, in Baltimore, MD, a son of Anna Mae Exline Robinson of Buckhannon and the late Dale Llyod Robinson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Robinson and daughter, Talena Alkire.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Marsha Robinson of Buckhannon; mother of his children, Millie Ann Alkire of Buckhannon; two sons, Shane Alkire of Huntington, WV and Jonathon “Egg” Alkire of Buckhannon; one daughter, Brenna “Tinky Pinky” Robinson of Buckhannon; two stepdaughters, Marsha lona “Squeak” Dawson and husband Daul of KY and Georgeanna Harris of PA; one grandson, Michael James of Buckhannon; one, granddaughter Kayeanna Bleigh of Buckhanon; two sisters, Elma Robinson and Debra Robinson both of Buckhannon; four brothers, Frank Longanette of Buckhannon, Llyod Robinson and wife Janine, of Elkins, WV, Eddie Robinson and wife Norma of MI, and Robert Robinson of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and close friends Tom Bevins and his family, the Small family, the Shipley family, and the Merriman family.

Mike loved riding motorcycles and thoroughly enjoyed working for the Small family doing black topping. His life was his grandbabies and he loved spending time with them. He will fondly be remembered as a jokester, who loved picking on people.

Friends will be received, Monday, May 22, 2023, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the New Life Tabernacle Church. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM with Pastor Jeffrey Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery in Hodgesville, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
