Marianna Lowman

Marianna Lowman, 65, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Saturday, May 9, 2020 in Stonewood, W.Va.

She was born February 21, 1955 in Bridgeport, Ct., a daughter of the late Yvonne Pearl Mealey Wodzinski. On September 17, 1981 she married Daniel Leigh Lowman who preceded her in death on December 24, 2019.

In addition to her mom and husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Gene Earl Lantz; one sister, Reginia Wodzinski Labno and four brothers, Tony and Alex Wodzinski and Johnny and Joseph Mealey.

She is survived by one daughter, Dreama Church and partner Richard Taylor of Buckhannon; one son, Eugene (E.J.) Church and wife Laura of SC; four granddaughters, Kaitlyn Turner-Slaughter and Erika, Emily and Lizzy Church; three grandsons, Kaleb Turner-Slaughter, Shaun Mullins and Austin Plutt; five sisters, Dorothy Hines and husband John of Clarksburg, W.Va., Helene Wodzinski of Buckhannon, Florence Farrabee and companion Rob Posey of Buckhannon, Blair Kirkland of N.H. and Donna Lantz; four brothers, Pete James Wodzinski and wife Shari of Romines Mill, W.Va., Edward Wodzinski of Buckhannon, Jack Wodzinski, Jr., and wife Beverly of Buckhannon and Gene Lantz, Jr. of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews and best friends, Lucy Wodzinski and Sharon Isleib both of Buckhannon.

Mrs. Lowman was a Registered Nurse.

Friends will be received Saturday, May 16, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Lewis/Upshur County Animal Shelter.
