Louwana Kay Perry, age 70, of French Creek, WV, died Sunday, August 2, 2026, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born November 22, 1955, in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Jacob and Verla Stidd Poling.
On October 30, 2001, she married Jimmy Ralph Perry, who preceded her in death on January 15, 2017.
Surviving are four sons, Allan Lee Pennington and wife Karleen of Woodlawn, VA, Jason Dale Pennington and wife Chastity of Buckhannon, WV, Raymond Lynn Pennington and wife Ashley Carleen of Selbyville, WV, and Tyler Wayne Pennington and wife Rebecca Suzanne of Belington, WV; nine grandsons, Jackson Leonard, Jonathan Beckner, Wyatt, Chase, Mason, Brandon, and Karter Pennington and Trenten and Kevin Riffle; two granddaughters, Isabella and Emily Pennington; three great-grandchildren, Aira Leonard, Shepherd Pennington, and Adalee Pennington; and one special niece who was more like a sister, Deb Mihal.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by several siblings.
Mrs. Perry was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing and crafting, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In honoring Louwana’s wishes, she will be cremated.
