Lourie Ann Forney

Lourie Ann Forney, age 56, of Buckhannon, WV died Monday, August 25, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.

She was born December 28, 1968, in Bladensburg, MD, a daughter of Catherine Pryor and the late Kenneth Daniels.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Robert Forney; two sons, Matthew Allen Bell and Anthony Bell; one daughter, Theresa Gibson; seven grandchildren, Chris, Lexie, Carter, and Ryan Gibson, Cadence Tate, Amber Shanholtz, and Elodie Jones; and one great-grandchild, Layla Ball.

Mrs. Forney worked at Lazy Acres Audra State Park.

In honoring her wishes, Mrs. Forney will be cremated.
