Louise Maxine Morris, age 75, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Holbrook’s Healthcare Center in Buckhannon.
She was born December 3, 1947, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Gurvis Grant Gould and Lyndall Margarite Simmons Shreve. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Morris, Sr. and sisters, Charlene Linger and Isabelle Lemley.
She is survived by four children, Darlene Reynolds and husband Ron of British Columbia, Teresa Reed and husband Richard of Buckhannon, Ernest David Criss and wife Kelly of Clarksburg, WV and Marion Sparks and husband Bill of Buckhannon; ten grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and one brother, David Gould and wife Betty of Buckhannon.
Mrs. Morris was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and going fishing.
Friends will be received Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Kerns officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.
