BUCKHANNON — On October 13, 2022 Quilters at Heart Quilt Guild of Buckhannon held the drawing for their 2022 Charity Raffle Quilt.

The lucky winner this year was Rebekah Wilkerson, daughter of Kristi and Curtis Wilkerson of Buckhannon. Rebekah is a sophomore at B-UHS and her grandmother bought her the winning ticket.

The guild raised $1,200 for the 180 Center, Inc. (Ruth House and Esther House in Buckhannon). Doug Spears, director of the 180 Center, attended the meeting to draw for the quilt and to receive the check.

Once a year Quilters at Heart makes a quilt to raffle to raise money for a local charity. A new quilt made by guild members is already in the works for 2023.
