Linda Sue Brown

Linda Sue Brown, age 77, of Rohr Avenue, Buckhannon, died Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at her home.

She was born in Glow, Kentucky on December 14, 1947, a daughter of the late Pat and Mae Lyons Bentley.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters: Phyllis Andrews and Patricia Long and two brothers: Clarence and Elmer “Bo” Bentley.

She is survived by one daughter Andrea and husband Jim Woodson of Philippi; one son Jeff Brown and fiancée Cindy Pugh of Buckhannon; three grandchildren: Cody Brown and wife Courtney, Allison Everson and husband Jon, and Logan Hull and wife Olivia; two great grandchildren: Ari and Levi Brown; one brother Ron Bentley and wife Jill of Buckhannon; one sister-in-law Kay Bentley of Buckhannon; and her former husband Larry Brown of Buckhannon.

Linda loved making crafts, playing Bingo, and spending time with her family and friends.

A special acknowledgement from the family is given to Terry Woodson for the excellent care she provided Linda.

The family will receive friends at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, the funeral hour, with Kimberly Hinchman officiating.

Interment will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park.
