Linda Joan McCauley, age 80, of Elkins, WV, died Sunday, September 25, 2022, at her home.

She was born March 10, 1942, in Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late Glenville Hayes and Mildred Jane Lake Lane. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Russell McCauley on February 5, 1987. Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Raymond and Jim Lane.

She is survived by one daughter, Georgia McCauley of Elkins; four sons, James Lane of Buckhannon, Glen Brake of Sanford, NC; George McCauley and wife Brenda of Buckhannon and Eugene McCauley of Elkins; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Wanda Dorrycott of Youngstown, OH; cousin, Shirley Lake of Danbury, CT and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Sunday, October 2, 2022, from 12 Noon until 2 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Butcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
