Linda Elaine Eskew-Westfall

Linda Elaine Eskew-Westfall, 73, of Buckhannon, slipped gently into the arms of the Lord on Friday, September 16, 2022, from the comfort of her home and surrounded by her family.

She was born in Newlon, WV, on August 23, 1949, a daughter of the late Omer Dain and Millie Lucille Douglas Eskew. Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by seven siblings: Juanita Howes, Evelyn McDaniels, Jeanette Lamb, Phyllis Cutright, Lyle Eskew, Gabriel Eskew, and Marty Eskew.

Forever cherishing their memories of Linda’s supportive nature are her husband, Joseph Westfall of Bailey Ridge; three children: Jesse D. Sanders and companion, John Miller, of Belington, Amy Johnson and husband, Michael, of Volga, and Maria Burton of French Creek; seven grandchildren: Justin Ours and wife, Samantha, Nathan Ours and companion, Abi Hamon, Brooke Ours and companion, Cody Perrine, Lauren Heidecker, Seth Foster and companion, Raven Alderman, Sean Foster, and Jacob Lowther; six great grandchildren: Lincoln, Lillian, Alexander, Theodore, Leah, and Dante; one great grandchild on the way: Azriel; three step grandchildren; Harley, Makayla, and Michael Johnson; four siblings: Heather Huff of Boyds, MD, Hazel Kreh and husband, Bud, of Madison, VA, Lee Sherman and companion, Mark, of FL, and Cheryl Marteney and husband, Lynn, of Kesling Mill; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was a Christian by faith and a member of the Hopes Point Baptist Church in Weston. She was a homemaker and loved gardening. She liked going on long car rides and playing music. Linda loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at Clutter Funeral and Cremation located at 21 Elnora Circle in Buckhannon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the Clutter Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dan Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Dale Cemetery in Selbyville.
