Lady Bucs can’t carry early momentum against Hawks in 73-49 loss

Ayden Travise’s first-half hat trick and two goals apiece from Coby Smith and Brody Wright powered Buckhannon-Upshur past Lincoln 7-0. The Bucs improved to 4-2-1 overall and 3-0 in Big 10 play ahead of Saturday’s home match with Huntington.

Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School rolled past Barbour County 38-8 to improve to 2-0 after opening with a win over Lincoln. The Little Bucs face their first road test Wednesday at Liberty.

Jimmie Green scored twice and added an assist as Buckhannon-Upshur rallied from a two-goal deficit to tie North Marion 3-3. The Bucs dominated possession and chances but were left frustrated by missed opportunities and costly mistakes.
