BECKLEY – The West-Virginia Wesleyan-Concord University women’s soccer team’s game that was scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the YMCA Paul Cline Complex was postponed.
The postponement is a result of an extended lightning delay that occurred prior to the game beginning. NCAA rules state that a soccer game can’t start more than three hours after the originally scheduled start time.
A makeup date in what was supposed to the first Mountain East Conference game for both teams has not been announced.
