Obituary Kimberly Oney

Kimberly Ann Oney, 59, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Mapleshire Nursing Home in Morgantown, W.Va.

She was born January 19, 1961, in Dover, De., a daughter of the late Jackson K. Lewis and Phyllis Norman Lewis Strader and husband Tom who survives of Buckhannon.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Earl Oney of Alum Bridge, W.Va.; two sons, Korey Burnside of Clay, W.Va. and Kody Burnside of Elkins, W.Va.; two granddaughters, Marli and Maycee Burnside both of Buckhannon; one brother, Daniel Lewis and wife Avis of Huntersville, N.C.; one sister, Patricia Reger and husband Charles of Buckhannon; soul sister, Rhonda Ringer and husband Paul of Buckhannon and two nieces.

Kimberly was a Christian by faith, a 1979 graduate from B-UHS and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree to become a Registered Nurse.

In honoring Kimberly’s wishes she will be cremated, and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
