Kevin Dustin McCartney, 34, of Crawford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 30, 2026.
He was born in Weston on June 29, 1992, a son of James William McCartney and Betty Jo Riley Nolan. Preceding Kevin in death were his paternal grandparents, Ray and Lilly Fisher, and maternal grandfather, Russell K. Riley.
Forever cherishing their memories of Kevin are his mother and stepfather, Betty and James Nolan of Crawford; father, James McCartney of Rock Cave; four siblings: Tiffany Adkins of Rock Cave, Nicole Jones and husband, Issac, of Crawford, James Nolan Jr. of Crawford, and Casey Nolan and companion, Connard Siders, of Bridgeport; maternal grandmother, Betty Hickman and husband, John, of Selbyville; and several nieces and nephews.
Kevin was a handyman and a jack of all trades, finding treasures that he collected and repurposed. He liked being outdoors, fishing, and riding his four-wheelers.
The family requests that donations be made directly to Clutter Funeral and Cremation. Donate online or mail donations to 21 Elnora Circle, Buckhannon, WV 26201. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
