Kerry Lee Phillips

Kerry Lee Phillips, 60, of Cambridge Springs, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at home.

Kerry was born in Buckhannon, WV, on June 14, 1964, a son of the late Alfred and Dorothy Joann (Goldsmith) Phillips.

In May, 1994 Kerry married Tammy Burford; she survives.

Kerry was a 1983 graduate of Buckhannon Upshur High School. For 20 years he owned and operated Phillips Construction. He had previously been employed by Bud Warner Enterprise and Union Drilling in West Virginia. An avid hunter, he also enjoyed collecting firearms and riding his ATV. He had a love for all dogs, especially his German Shepherds.

In addition to his wife Tammy, Kerry is survived by a daughter Kayla Phillips of Okeechobee, FL; three grandchildren Logan Edward Lee Hecker, Paige McCarthy, Jahnelle Schaeffer; a sister Debra Shreve (Kevin) of Elkins, WV; two brothers Steven Phillips (Kay), Benny Phillips (Robin) both of Buckhannon, WV; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kerry was preceded in death by his step-daughter Shelley Barley; and a sister Patricia Queen.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
