Obituary Kendra Neal

Kendra Beth Neal, 27, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, June 16, 2019, in Buckhannon.

She was born September 6, 1991, in Alliance, Ohio, a daughter of Rick and Heidi Wafler Howard. On September 15, 2012, she married Ryan Shane Neal, who survives.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Kacie and Abigail Neal both of Buckhannon; three sisters, Margo Norman of Buckhannon and Amanda Stoneking and Kambrya Percy both of Salem, Ohio; three brothers, Zackary Percy of Alliance and Kurt Norman and J.C. Howard both of Buckhannon; her biological father, Daniel Percy of Alliance; step-mother, Beverly Sexton of Salem; her in-laws, Joe and Bonnie Neal of Buckhannon; brother-in-law, Josh Neal of Buckhannon; maternal grandmother, Patricia Kelly of Kensington, Ohio; paternal grandparents, Vaden and Elma Queen of Buckhannon; grandfather, Fred Percy of Alliance; one uncle, Kelby Wafler and wife Roni of Minerva, Ohio and nephew, K.J Wafler of Minerva.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Terry Wafler and paternal grandmother, Donna Percy.

Kendra was a Christian by faith and a homemaker.

Friends will be received Saturday, June 22, 2019, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.

Wesley Ed Howard, 93, died January 30, 2026, at home in Hinkleville, where he’d lived since childhood. A sharp-witted family man and outdoorsman, he served in Korea, earned a WVU degree, and built Buckhannon’s Southern States through his famous “buy, sell, or trade” style.
