Kelley Tierney State Farm hosts annual soup drive to benefit Upshur County students

BUCKHANNON – Join the initiative to combat hunger for Upshur County students through the winter by donating canned soup to Kelley Tierney State Farm this month.

Last year, the Upshur County community graciously donated over 6,700 cans of soup to feed local children throughout the coldest days of winter. Each bowl of soup could warm a child’s heart – and stomach – with such generous support from their community.

This is the sixth anniversary soup drive hosted by this State Farm insurance agency with a mission to serve the Upshur County community and beyond.

This year, a generous goal of 6,000 cans of soup, stew, mac and cheese cups, etc. are needed for the children. Each can donated will be matched, can-for-can, by the Kelley Tierney State Farm office. Join the cause and donate today!

Cans are collected at the Kelley Tierney State Farm office at 115 East Main Street in Buckhannon. The last day to donate cans of soup is Tuesday, Oct. 31. For questions, please call 304-472-5552.

Follow Kelley Tierney State Farm on Facebook for can drive updates, insurance coverage options and more.
