JV Lady Bucs drop 34-16 decision to Lincoln

SHINNSTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur junior varsity Lady Bucs failed to score in the first half and wound up dropping a 34-16 road decision to the Lincoln Cougars Tuesday evening.

Lincoln held a 15-0 lead over the JV Lady Bucs at the break.

The JV Lady Bucs got the offense going in the second half, but were still outscored by a 19-16 margin in the third and fourth quarters.

Olivia Shipley led the JV Lady Bucs with six points while Regina Petrokovich had five points.

Sylvie Salerno led Lincoln with 14 points.

The JV Lady Bucs are now 0-3 on the season.

They will return to action Saturday hosting Musselman at 1 p.m.
