Joann Michael: Celebration of Life

All are invited to a celebration of life service honoring the memory of Joann Michael, a.k.a. “Grandma,” to be held at Wesley Chapel on November 3 at 11:30 a.m. at West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon, W.Va.

Joann retired from the West Virginia Wesleyan College in 2010 following 35 years of service. She worked in several different capacities throughout the 1980’s and early 1990’s, and then spent the remainder of the 1990’s, until her retirement in 2010, at the French A. See Dining Center.

As the students displayed their identification card to enter the dining center, they were greeted by Joann, a.k.a “Grandma.” Joann devoted herself to making each student feel loved and at home.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate contributions be given to: The Joann Michael Scholarship Fund, c/o West Virginia Wesleyan College, Advancement Office, 59 College Avenue, Buckhannon, West Virginia 26201
