Jo Ann Casto

Jo Ann Casto, 65, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Monday, November 30, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.

She was born May 17, 1955, in Pickens, W.Va., a daughter of the late James and Eula Chidester Williams.

On February 16, 1973, she married Michael Casto who survives of Buckhannon. Also surviving are three daughters, Lori Suttle and husband Denzil of Buckhannon, Beverly Clark and husband Shane of French Creek, W.Va. and Michelle Peggs and husband Don of Rock Cave, W.Va.; one son, Billy Casto and wife Tiffany of Crawford, W.Va.; nine granddaughters, Dezirae Heater and husband Brandon, Tamika Casto, Amber Bailey and husband Brad, Kiara Peggs, Brittany Suttle and Keshia Suttle all of Buckhannon, LaTisha Barnette and husband Logan of Weston, W.Va., Franchesca Casto of Crawford, W.Va. and Cheyenne Kahlbaugh of French Creek; four grandsons, Joshua Amelotte and Colton Kahlbaugh both of Buckhannon, Dakota Kahlbaugh of French Creek and Isaac Peggs of Rock Cave; one great granddaughter, Ivy Sines of Buckhannon; one great grandson, Kal-El Sines of Buckhannon and two sisters, Kathy Eskew and husband Judd Alexander of W.Va. and Ruby Williams and husband Dave Shahan of Grafton, W.Va.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Heath and seven brothers, Gallard “Bud”, Robert “Bob”, James Herb, Ralph, Little Paul and Cecil Williams and Arden Nethken.

Mrs. Casto was a homemaker. She was a member of the Sago Baptist Church of Sago, W.Va. Mrs. Casto enjoyed church, camping and spending time with family. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She adored the holidays, especially Christmas.

Friends will be received Friday, December 4, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sago Baptist Church.  A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Elbon Cemetery at Sago, W.Va.
