Jeffrey H. “Jeff” Rohr

Jeffrey H. “Jeff” Rohr, 55, of Buckhannon, died Friday, May 3, 2019, at his home. 

He was born June 25, 1963, in Buckhannon a son of James “Jimmy” and Carolyn Alderman Rohr, both of Buckhannon. 

He was united in marriage on May 30, 1982, to his high school sweetheart, who he lovingly referred to as “Piglet,” Wendy Kump Rohr, who survives. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son Anthony “Tony” Rohr of Buckhannon; one daughter Whitney and husband Mike Abel of Buckhannon; two grandchildren:  Morgan and Blake Rohr; one brother Kenneth “K.P.” Rohr and wife Anissa of Buckhannon; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and beloved dog Spike and cat Kyle. 

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman and fisherman, who loved spending time with his family and friends, and was a well-known and well-liked member of the community.  He was a member of the Sand Run Baptist Church and the Franklin Lodge 7 A.F. & A.M. 

Jeff was the owner/operator and full-time employee of Rohr’s Body Shop and “part-time pest” (special friend) at the Heavner & Cutright Funeral Chapel. 

The family will receive friends at the South Buckhannon Mission Church on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, from 4-8 p.m.  The funeral will be held at the church on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Ed Lowther officiating.  Interment will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park.
