Janice Marie (Meadows) Hedrick

Janice Marie (Meadows) Hedrick, age 73, of French Creek, went home to the Lord in the early hours of Saturday, August 17, 2024. She passed peacefully, recounting fond memories as she crossed; leaving all pain behind.

Janice was born in Hinton, WV, one of four children to Andrew and Marie Bragg Meadows. Janice never met a stranger, as everyone was a friend. She could strike up a conversation with just about anyone, and found every opportunity to proudly tell stories and share updates of her family members and friends; new and old.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Meadows; sister, Mary; as well as many beloved dogs and cats.

She is survived by her high-school sweetheart, love of her life, and husband of 58 years, Roger Hedrick; two sisters: Dixie and Yvonne; daughter, Stephanie (husband Mark) Reynolds of NC; two sons: Greg (wife Stasha) Hedrick of Loudin Co., VA and Jordan (wife Hayley) Hedrick of Buckhannon, WV; eight grandchildren: Rhea, Ethan, Gage, Zane, Sydney, Kylan, Rylee and Landon; one great grandchild, Rylan; and several nieces and nephews.

Janice’s request for Cremation has been honored at Clutter Funeral and Cremation.

We, at Clutter Funeral and Cremation located at 21 Elnora Circle in Buckhannon, are honored and privileged to serve the family of Janice Marie (Meadows) Hedrick. Online condolences may be expressed at www.ClutterFuneralHome.com.
