Hunter Levi Parks

Hunter Levi Parks, 22, of Huttonsville, W.Va., died Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in Huttonsville.

He was born March 19, 1998 in Morgantown, W.Va., a son of Donnie Warner of Huttonsville and Angel Parks-Riggleman and husband Richie of Buckhannon.

He is also survived by one sister, Kristen Nesbitt of Buckhannon; three brothers, Kaiden Warner and Cody Warner and Tina Miller all of Huttonsville and Dalton Warner and wife Sarah of Mabie, W.Va.; one step sister, Kelsey Riggleman of Buckhannon; one step brother, Jacob Riggleman of Buckhannon; paternal grandfather, Tom and Becky Warner of Beverly, W.Va.; paternal grandmother, Gloria Warner and husband Steve of Dailey, W.Va.; nieces, Ashlynn and Preslee Warner both of Huttonsville and Quinnlin Warner of Mabie; nephews, Waylon Warner and Trenten Matura both of Huttonsville; girlfriend, soulmate, Leenette Fincham and their fur baby Tucker of Huttonsville; aunts, Kathy Parks Mcle, Donna Parks Chewning and husband Rick all of Buckhannon, Cathy Ringer and husband Mike of Norton, W.Va. and Ann Osburn and husband Rob of Buckhannon; uncle, Jimmie Mcle of Volga, W.Va. and numerous friends.

Hunter was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Don and Judy Parks; one nephew, Kamden Warner; and one aunt and one uncle, Debbie and Jeff Valentine.

Hunter was a Correctional Officer 3 at Huttonsville Correctional Center. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He never met a stranger and if he did, they didn’t leave strangers. If you were fortunate enough to get a Hunter hug, you will never forget the warmth of that young man.

Friends will be received Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Way of Holiness Church. A funeral service will be held 6 p.m. on Sunday at the church with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. In honoring Hunter’s wishes he will be cremated after the service.
