High Point Construction wins third-quarter title in Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League

TENNERTON – High Point Construction had no problems grabbing the third-quarter title in the Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League.

Heading into the final week of the third quarter with a 7 ½ point, they stretched that lead to 8 ½ points after a 21 ½-17 ½ victory over Feola’s Flowers.

High Point Construction finished the third quarter with 117 ½ points.

Hank Ellis Insurance finished second in the third quarter with 109 points after a 21 ½-18 ½ win over Baker Tilly.

Sealcoat Concepts dropped a 22-18 decision to First Community Bank but maintained third place with 105 ½ points.

Highland Landscaping placed fourth with 98 ½ points after a 20 ½-15 ½ victory over Lisa Cain Edward Jones.

The other match of the week saw Sam’s Pizza down Custom Cabinets by a 20-16 score.

Chris Brady of Highland Landscaping won Low Actual honors with a 34 while Bob Jack of High Point Construction claimed Low Net honors with a 31.
