High Point Construction downs First Community Bank in men’s golf playoff battle

High Point Construction beat First Community Bank 22½-17½ in the Buckhanon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial League playoff to advance to next Wednesday’s championship against Highland Landscaping.

TENNERTON – In the first-round playoff battle in the Buckhanon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial League, High Point Construction downed First Community Bank by a 22 ½-17 ½ score to advance to the championship round.

They will now play Highland Landscaping next Wednesday for the league title.

Chris Brady of First Community Bank won Low Actual honors with a 37 while Brian Gaudet and Lane Tennery, both of High Point Construction, earned Low Net honors with 34s.
