BUCKHANNON — The Buckhannon Country Club Bob Cupp Memorial Golf League returned to action Wednesday, and Hank Ellis Insurance came back with a vengeance.
Hank Ellis Insurance rose to the top of the third-quarter standings with a dominant 27-13 win over Highland Landscaping.
The team moved from sixth place to first with 46 1/2 points.
High Point Construction also jumped one spot, from third to second, with a 21 1/2-18 1/2 victory over Lisa Cain Edward Jones. High Point Construction has 44 points.
Sunset Graphics, last week’s leader, slipped into a tie for third with 43 1/2 points after a 20 1/2-19 1/2 setback to Feola’s Flowers.
Custom Cabinets also has 43 1/2 points after a 23-17 win over Sam’s Pizza.
In the other match of the week, Lynx WV beat First Community Bank 22 1/2-17 1/2.
Steve Hollen of Custom Cabinets earned Low Actual honors with a 36.
Hollen and John Mathias of Sunset Graphics tied for Low Net honors with 32s.
